Mission Statement
The mission of the Ramsey Environmental Commission is to:
- Maintain the environmental and ecological stability of the Borough of Ramsey by addressing environmental concerns and issues affecting the borough.
- Enhance decision-making by the local government by ensuring that environmental policies are integrated into all plans and projects.
- Support education of the public and the local government regarding environmental issues and pertinent regulations.
- Encourage maintenance and conservation of open space and wetlands in the borough.
- Review borough site plans and make recommendations to the local government.
- Update and maintain the borough's Natural Resources Inventory.
